Carlos Rodriguez-Pastor (born April 11, 1959) is a Peruvian businessman and leader of Intergroup Financial Services Corp., which owns Interbank Group. His father was exiled from Peru when he was 9, and the family moved to the United States shortly after. Rodriguez-Pastor was educated and worked on Wall Street in New York, returning to Peru in 1994 to work with his father who had bought Interbank group with the help of American investors. He also founded Nexus Group, a private equity firm, in Panama in 1998. Through Nexus and his Intergroup Financial HOldings has investments several retail, consumer and financial companies to benefit from Peru’s rising consumer class. His net worth is said to be over US $2 billion.
