Paul Tudor Jones II (born September 28, 1954) is the founder of Tudor Investment Corporation, a private asset management company and hedge fund. Jones went to University of Virginia, earning an undergraduate degree in economics in 1976 as well as his college welterweight boxing championship. After college, he started working on the trading floors as a clerk and then became a broker for E. F. Hutton & Co. And in 1980, he founded Tudor Investment Corporation. He founded the Robin Hood Foundation, an organization which attempts to alleviate the ravages of poverty in New York City, in 1988.
